Cathedral of Culinary Art:
A Romanesque Art Nouveau Industrial Hotel Kitchen
Year : 2024
Interior Design / Kitchen
Inspired by :Romanesque architecture, Bauhaus minimalism, Art Nouveau curves, and industrial materials
This project imagines a luxurious hotel kitchen that brings together four strong design styles. It combines the elegance of Romanesque arches, the clean lines of Bauhaus, the organic beauty of Art Nouveau, and the raw strength of industrial design.
The space was designed as a "gastronomic sanctuary." Large stone arches and columns give a historic and grand feeling, while soft floral patterns and golden details bring warmth and romance. The mix of materials and styles creates contrast and balance—between old and new, soft and strong, art and function.
Romanesque Arches & Columns: Tall, carved stone elements add grandeur
Art Nouveau Details: Golden leaf patterns, floral metalwork, sculpted wood
Bauhaus Geometry: Marble floors with geometric inlays, minimal appliances
Industrial Elements: Exposed steel beams, metal shelving, forged pendant lights
Kitchen Island: Marble top with industrial metal legs and sculptural edges
Mixed Materials: Velvet chairs, dark wood, gold, stone, glass, and metal
Layered Lighting: Industrial frames with decorative Art Nouveau glass

This project is part of an independent design study developed purely for creative exploration. While it draws visual or conceptual inspiration from existing brands, it is not affiliated with or commissioned by them. The work is intended as a personal exercise in branding, spatial design, and architectural storytelling.
